Ewa Lapinska
B.Sc. (HONS) Counselling & Psychotherapy, MIACP, PTT
My work as an integrative psychotherapist means that I use many therapeutic approaches, adapting the style of therapy to the individual needs of clients. I have always been interested in human nature, behaviour, and habits, as well as how we process emotions and how we evolve.
This practice allows me to create a good therapeutic relationship, which in turn has a great impact on the effectiveness of therapy. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), thanks to which I can give my clients tools to better deal with some of their problems. I also use mindfulness, guided meditation, the Gestalt approach and the Psychodynamic approach.
I feel privileged to work with people in a therapeutic setting. I try to listen carefully and cultivate a relationship with each client to provide them with a safe space to talk and overcome their problems.
I work with adults in the following areas speaking English, Polish and Spanish:
· Anxiety
· Depression
· Adult children of Alcoholics
· Bereavement & Loss
· Suicidal ideation
· Self-esteem issues
· Post-natal depression
· Women’s Health
· Perinatal Mental Health
· Miscarriages
· Infertility
· Work related stress
· Trauma
